The Tahqua Trekker is a well travelled, experienced, biologist and naturalist. Consider him for the following adventures:
Birding Specializing in Cerulean Warblers (mid-May through mid-July) and Henslow's Sparrows (Mid-may through August). Other local specialties include Common Loon, warblers, Sandhill Crane, and wetland species.
Canoeing/Kayaking Specializing in the Tahquamenon River, Kalamazoo River, Manistee River, Au Sable River, Pere Marquette River, Glass Creek, and Thornapple River.
Naturalist Seek out and find terrestrial and wetland habitats and wildlife. Specialty is Michigan Habitats with an emphasis on wildflowers and trees.
Backpacking Has hiked over 1600 miles of the North Country Trail, including Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas.
Day Hikes Has visited every county, every national park, and nearly every state park in Michigan. Author of "50 Hikes in Michigan's Upper Peninsula".
