YTB.com is a publically traded company that contracts with individuals to steer folks, like yourself, to book travel using their website.  If you were not already aware, when you visit Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, etc., these companies earn a commission on your travel.

Funds you spend on travel not only go to your hotels, flights, etc., a portion (it can be as high as 60%) are paid out in commissions to these faceless, multi-million dollar corporations.

When you book through my website, the commissions are split between myself and YTB.  By booking through my website, yes, I do earn a commission but I also building credentials to be a full fledged travel agent.  Now, I have no plans of becomming rich from this, I am primarilly doing this so I can get discounts on my personal travel due to my affilliation with YTB and the International Association of Travel Agents.  As a member, I have membership dues which allow me to participate in this great opportunity.

Currently, I cannot directly book your travel, you must use the website just like you would use Travelocity.  The only exception is that I can book group travel on cruises, african safaris, etc., if I can guarantee 20 rooms and I go along as the trip leader (darn!).

However, if I get support from family and friends using this website, along with me taking some classes, I expect to earn my full credentials in 3-5 years.

Therefore, I ask the question, "Why book with those faceless corporations when you can do the same exact thing through tomfunketravel.com?"  The software is the same that Travelocity uses!
