I caught the travel bug years ago when our family would take cross country driving trips to New Jersey and Florida to visit family. As a young adult, I did not have the money to see exotic places, so I loaded up my car with camping gear and have since visited many of Michigans State Parks, State Forest Campgrounds, National Parks, and National Forests. I've had the fortune of travelling with my employer, Binder Park Zoo, to Kenya, Tanzania, and Peru. Since hiking across the Upper Penninsula in 1998, I've become a paid, free lance travel writer. Recently, a colleauge suggested I earn the credentials to becomming a travel agent. I can travel at a discount, and, offer my friends and family the opportunity to travel using the same online software I use, eventually leading to earning my full credentials as a member of the International Travel Agent Association. When I earn my full credentials, it is at that point I can offer a full slate of services (and DISCOUNTS!) to my friends and family.
